Re: Mort Daly Running Foundation (Pre-Bay) Results
Re the Mens 550m - Interesting that Oakley has run under net time and 3 seconds faster than his last 550m run which was at Pt Adelaide.
He ran 4th with a 1:11 at pre bay last year and was given a 4m lift to his current 70ms, which would have seen him win under net time before the DSQ. He'll be very hard to beat if he remains on 70m (which also happens to be his handicap in the 1000m).
Anyone else find certain results interesting

He did run a 1:10.28 in the heats of Port Adelaide. So I dont think this improvement in time at Pre Bay is THAT shocking given Port Adelaide was a month ago. Something may have happened in the final at Port Adelaide which affected Oakley's time.

Sam Kean 1000 off 135m
Oakley 1000 off 70m
Kean 550m off 67
Oakley 550m off 70
Obvious ones like this shouldnt get through to keeper.
I can not comment to much on things like this as I have been threatened to be named and shamed.
So I wont say anymore on this.Other than , December or not if you run under ceiling , BACK YOU GO.
