how does a novice get 7m in the gift ....
yes yes i know he had that mark at stawell last year, but how did he get that in the first place without running

There seemed to be a number of slow times at Terang as well... I've heard the track was in decent condition, there were tail winds... were the conditions good and people just running slowly? Lots barely breaking 13 (or even going close) when they've shown to be much better than that.

FACT - we definitely saw some 2022 stawell gift finalists this weekend, both men and womens.
I wonder which race the long-haired Nettlefold will win. If he turns up this weekend he most likely wins... unless he cuts his hair.

I'm still convinced Nettlefold won on the weekend, honestly don't think Lindstrom led all race. I think Hastings will be his next target.
