WCAL Season 2020/21
At this point in time we have no details on the WCAL 2020/21 Season. Hopefully they can get some competitions up and going for their athletes, we look forward to hearing some updates soon. Until then, have a read of the WCAL Hall of Fame https://www.westcoastathletics.org.au/hall-of-fame

Re: WCAL Season 2020/21
Saw a Facebook post today mentioning that the Melville Gift is on Friday 26th February, save the date, more details to come.
In other West Australian news, the Westrac Bunbury Geocache Gift will unfortunately not be held this season due to the uncertainty of COVID-19. They are planning on returning in 2022.

Re: WCAL Season 2020/21
Update on Melville Gift taken from the WCAL Facebook page. Unfortunate news for WA athletes.
"It's with sincere regret that WCAL have decided to cancel the 2021 Fit Learning Melville Gift due to the potential risks to athletes and spectators. Apologies for those that were looking forward to running the first Gift of the season. Special thanks to Aaron Bresland and Sasha Zhoya for their support. We will make further announcements shortly about future plans for events. Please email any inquiries to Mandymason@westcoastathletics.org.au. Thanks to John Watters and Melville Little Athletics for your support and to Charlotte George for assistance to date."

Is this Hall of Fame legit? There is a guy in there based on gifts he should have won?! I’m a bit bored in lockdown...

Re: WCAL Season 2020/21
For any WA athletes on here
Hi All,
A reminder of tomorrow nights WCAL AGM that will be hosted at the WA Athletics Stadium
The WCAL AGM will commence on Wednesday 1 December 2021 at 6.30 pm.
Presentation of awards for the 2020 - 2021 season will commence at the Close of Business for the AGM.
Election of WCAL Executive Committee
All positions of the current WCAL Executive Committee will be declared vacant and an election of Office Bearers conducted at the AGM. Nominations are invited and will be accepted via by email (WCAL Chairman: mandymason@fitlearning.com.au, or Secretary: tom.lenane@yahoo.com.au) with any positions not already nominated by email accepted from the floor at the AGM. An election (if needed) of Committee Members will be conducted as part of the AGM.
Please give some thought to becoming part of the new Committee. The work load is not great but will give you the opportunity to be part of the ongoing success of WCAL and professional running in Western Australia. While you may have little experience in committee work there is a solid and experienced core of existing committee members on hand to provide advice and assistance if needed.
Hope to see you there!
