2023 Warrnambool 120m Mens Gift
A slightly smaller field, we see Jesse Mckenna take the backmark honours from 1.75m. He'll be chasing Moschou from SA off 3m who's been showing some blistering form across the Murray.
Perennial podium man Jackson Bennett goes from 4m again... Jared Glover has been showing some good form and runs from 7m. Loukeris should be dangerous from a mark of 7.25m making St. Albans and Rye finals last season off 7.5m.
John Evans will be one to watch off 8.25m along with Daniel Sammut off 17m after his performance at Mortlake.

This is Bennetts best chance at a gift win, really well placed to win this one.
Sammut, Moschou, Baker, Hunt will final also. Liam Moss if he runs close to how he did at Keilor last season.

Re: 2023 Warrnambool 120m Mens Gift
A rare gift I’m not entered in…so I’m happy to give my thoughts on a few runners.
My final will be as follows.
Red: Jesse McKenna. Doesn’t turn up to VAL meets unless he’s in the final. This will be no different.
White: Michael Moschou. Super talented. Think his mark is about spot on. Should comfortably final and push for a podium if he runs to his best.
Blue: Jackson Bennett. Rarely misses finals. Rarely misses podiums. Is this the one he breaks through at? Just misses again for mine.
Yellow: Brad Hunt. My smokie. Huge amount of ability. Had a few body issues. But at his best he would be incredibly hard to beat. Maybe not ready yet though. That’s the only question mark.
Green: Maki Loukaris. Started the season really well. Making 70 finals off a mark way tighter than his gift mark. Ran well at relays. Right in the mix for a podium.
Pink: Patrick Martin. Dominated the 400 at Stawell last year. Broke his opponents hearts. Surely this is the season we see him drop down and go bang. Should final. Won’t win just yet. But I’m waiting for a big one Patty
Black: John Evans. These South Aussies won’t know what’s hit them being front markers. Back home there’s plenty ahead of them. Think John will sneak into the final but not be a chance to win one just yet. At his best though he’s a certain top 3.
Grey: Corey Baker. What a quality final with the front marker off 8.75m. And he will take some catching! The only one ahead of him that I think could final is Sammut. But if not, Corey will be ahead for a long long way. Can he hold on for his first vic gift win?
Leaving Liam Moss out only cos he hasn’t opened up his season yet. So not much to go on.

Alright gather around chumps.
Rumour has it Jack Wolff has cut his hair and dropped 0.5! No one mentioned him but hes my dark horse.
Aubrey Watson has home track advantage and knows where he laid the booby traps so watch for him to come home late.
Michael Dinan Michael Moschou Declan Gall
