Ricky (Richard Falconer) Dunbar passed away peacefully this morning at home.

The Living Legend aka "The Flying Scotsman", has lost his 13 month battle with Mesothelioma, and has donated his fine specimen of a body to the Melbourne University program.

Beloved husband to Sue, loving father to Nila and Cam, father in law to Rowen and Clare, adored Papa to Kate, Chloe, Max, Sam, Charlie and Cassidy.

We will miss you every day but know that you can run whenever you want now without fear of injury or stepping in pot holes.

I don’t think there has ever been anyone who loved Pro Running as much as Ricky Dunbar. We will miss him around our group at training and on raceday. He has left an indelible mark on our sport and he leaves a massive hole. RIP Ricky.
