2024 Keilor 120m Mens Gift
Saye Morris lines up as the backmarker at Keilor from the mark of 1m fresh off a windy 10.57 (+3.5) looking to make his mark here. 2022 World Beach Sprint Champion Michael Hanna makes an appearance off 1.75m with the inform Jack Boulton looking to back up his win at Beachside off 2.75m.
Jackson Bennett goes again! Still on 4.25m after another podium at Ballarat will this be the one? He'll have his work cut out with Michale Hansford going from the mark of 4.75m. Hansford beat Morris in Geelong in the same race mentioned above running 10.56 (+3.5) and starts 3.75m infront and will be the one to watch in my opinion.
Youngster Brodie Smith lines up off 6m after a promising season last year we have yet to see him on the circuit in 23/24 season so will look forward to him getting back out there. Liyanaarachichi will look to make the most of a 0.5m lift running now from 6.75m. Had a strong performance at Ballarat of 6.25m, that extra half should certainly put him in the mix.
Antonino and Vi from 7m will be an interesting battle, but unless my eyes doth betray me, did something happen in that 4x200m? Ireland, this time Darcy, should be one to keep an eye out for from 9.5m after an impressive RPM of .1199 in the 70m at Ballarat and his longer sprint prowess. Brittain will be on the radar from 10m as he always is!
Will make for a great night at what is arguably one of the more difficult Gifts to win, but the biggest question... who will run the skins?!?!?!

I saw the same thing Donatello. Antonino looked like he hurt his hammy and flung the baton, not to dissimilar to the famous Floater Sunnies toss

Antonio over raced, week in week out. All the distances. Was only a matter of time.

Do you reckon they warm up properly for these relays ? I saw GK’s girls warming up down the back but I don’t think there were too many more. I may be wrong. Some squads take it pretty seriously so a solid warm up is probably warranted

The relay is an accident waiting to happen. Every year some hurts themselves. Last event at the end of high intensity, fast track 2 day carnival throws massive risk of injury from fatigue regardless of warm ups. If I was a coach, I would strongly advise my athletes not to compete. Incredible risk versus zero rewards. Bragging rights doesn't replace pulled hamstrings or any injuries.

Disagree with this unfortunately, you’ve you got no research and have just presumed there’s been injuries. It’s always been a great addition to the gift that creates a spectacle and a one off injury has occurred. Let’s focus on Keilor instead of this

Reckon my little brother Boulton will be able to win this one. Looked impressive at Beachside, gets out to the 120m distance this week and it’s there if he wants a 2nd gift win
