Already a few votes for Bailey Culbert so I looked him up, one run at Waverley and finished 3rd in his semi (pretty comfortable run..) would’ve made a final of 8, and already gets a half a metre lift? What’s the need to lift him so much straight away?

I’m going to call out another mistake but I don’t care. Jesse Madigan hasn’t run for 4 years. Has 1 run at St Albans and get a half a metre lift. Obviously doesn’t go too bad after a nice 2nd place in the 300m.

Can we stop these dramatic lifts after one run?

Agreed norm, happening quite a lot. These new runners should be made to earn it like the rest, especially someone who clearly has ability like culbert why wouldn’t u force them to run if they want to be lifted, once again the established athletes remain at a disadvantage.
