Re: Meadowglen Results
Thanks JH super quick times in the 70 and 200 races, can't remember the last time 2 athletes went 20.4 in a 200, Leferink was unlucky as they get
Watched a fair bit on the live stream which was a pretty decent quality, hopefully they're planning on doing a few more VAL events

Fighera mark was wrong
And how has Leferink improved so much?
Clarke should’ve been the winner

Re: Meadowglen Results
Quick times in all the races by the looks! Looked like good conditions on the stream? Fighera and Leferink drop 0.4-ish between semi and final? Plenty up the proverbial sleeves!

Leferink has a PB of 21.8 (-1.2) from 2020 and is only 19. Off 10m he was always going to run sub 20.8 if in form. Fighera’s mark was generous given her recent form and PB (23.86 -0.7). Credit to them both for putting on a show with the marks allocated.

Leferink’s performance due to Rosen’s stable after he switched squads at the end of last season. Morehouse linked to top two in the 200 gift having previously coached both.

Re: Meadowglen Results
Leferink won Rye 2019 from 5.75m, so won’t start a 120m any further out than 5m. Has only run a 120m at Stawell 19 since then.
His 200m final run yesterday, with track allowance has Aaron running approx 9.25mps. This is very similar to his 12.34 at Rye and 12.28 from 6.50m at Stawell 19.
So a Gift win is a chance from 5m on a good track around the 12.45 time.

Re: Meadowglen Results
Good to see this forum kicking off in fine fashion
Tom has done a very good job with Aaron over the years and many other athletes. And there’s no need to call him out over Dhruv or anyone else. There were no games. He turned up at every race he ran and won.
How about we just be happy that gun national level athletes such as Aaron, Dhruv, Nathan Riali, Joel Bee, Jack Clarke etc turned up to run at a Meadowglen Gift. It is a great look for the sport to have such quality running at a small meeting. Especially with the exceptional live stream that was put together.

Add in a return to form to neon Dion Paull. Ran some great 70s and 200 heat! Expecting some exciting things coming fro him early season.

Agreed, Fiedler athletes look out!
Lefrink will most likely be starting in the 4s (metre), tight mark for the kid. I suggest his 70 may be the way to go with 3.75m. Non the less, great run. probably at his best.

Re: Meadowglen Results
I don’t think anyone is criticising Tom Morehouse or Leferink at all, if anything they’re praising them for just being good at what they do. Plenty of good vibes going around in here!! Which is what Mr Positive loves.
I agree Tim that it was great to see some quality athletes run over the weekend, but I don’t think anyone is unhappy that they ran? It’s always great to see our best athletes showing their top form this time of year. Let’s all just sit back, relax and enjoy the season!

Hi ‘The Big Show’, comments like that aren’t warranted for this forum. I’d suggest reading over the forum rules before posting again.
I’m happy for friendly banter and all, but I think you’ve gone a step too far this time. Keep it under control please.
Thanks,
Admin.
