Re: Loxton 2022
Why is it , that with wind measurement adjustments , all athletes lose time from semi to final.
Yep wind was stronger headwind but with the proper adjustments why are all athletes times slower in the final.
It doesnt happen that way.
Athletes are ready to run their fastest in the final.
Something isnt correct here and could be a good case that times being put into the chook raffle arent correct.
What we have all known for a long time.

It needs to be looked into rather than the "we dont know why" typical response we get now. Times traditionally always started of one thing in the heats, then jumped a little more in the semis and then more again in the finals. Perhaps its younger and older athletes making the numbers and their ability to back it up isnt there as you might expect?

Re: Loxton 2022
Looking at the Cordoma footage alone obviously leads itself to some questions - but the sharp pull up could... represent a sore calf. If you reference times then there are several from that final who lost time not just Jesse. After the semis both Jesse and Forest were basically fighting it out so it's not like he has run 5th or 6th and well off. The comments made after crossing the line don't really seem applicable. He is not looking around for any camera and he also is not running around jumping and celebrating his stablemates success. No direct issues with Z scores. Also might need to consider Jesse's history, he has always been a fierce competitor and never has had a reputation of " faking an injury " not to win.

Even if he did pull up. Who cares, is it really that bad. It was a small gift with small entries, he has come to get some racing in but may have not wanted to take the sash. We have all been in that position. If you say you’ve never done it then your lying. Leave the guy alone. Give him a small fine, a slap on the wrist and a warning to not run unless he is wanting to win. Geezuz. The sAAL is a joke. They would be nothing withought the youngy quality athlete's showing up. #FreeJesse

I'd be surprised if the Chief even saw it! If he did, then call Jesse over, ask him what happened, Jesse explains it, perhaps give him 14 days as precaution and move on, thats the end of it.
And Bill I never did it, but then I was never that good!

Re: Loxton 2022
Just watching the Over 35's 400 at Victor and the womens 400. Now Leslie Rutherford has come in 1.2 seconds under Nett in the Over 35's @5.077MPS and then ran in the womens after that @ 4.063MPS. So if Leslie comes 2nd in the Over 35's will this be considered an under performance based on the her running the womens 400 and therefore will the SAAL also take her prize money off her as well just like Jesse??

Jamae wins , but what do I know.Z Score wrote:I hope you have had a good look at that Spreadsheet Novice Pro.NovicePro wrote:
Of course they don't want him to win. Receives a 10m lift so he doesn't run last. He responds by finding 6 seconds and nearly winning it.
They would be doing what they can to ensure he doesn't win this weekend.
By the way Barnetts won two races in the last month.
You need to go back 7 years for Whitecross last sash
Jan 01, 2015 2015 Maryborough Highland Games 100 1600 1600m Womens/Masters 3061 Whitecross Greg Final 1 267.241 267.241 380 0.2191
By the way Novice Pro Barnetts result last weekend
1 Mark Barnett 4 281.00m 2:28.55 2:28.55
Also Jamae won Reynella off 50 in 52.04
Goes to Camden off 42 and runs 51.85 at least 8m + improvement in 23 days.
Then gets a 3m lift for Victor.
So got beaten by Whitecross at Camden by .55 but now meets Floater 15m better off
Novice Pro , dont bury your head in the sand like the others , explain why.
If marks stay the same Jamae turns up and goes close to getting himself another sash.
Watch this space as the handicappers response will be golden.
Mumbles lets Rutherford run the 400m womens after she has made the 0ver 35 400m final and then she loses approx 6 1/2 sec in the final of the 0ver 35 400m after running under net in her heat.Mumbles should be called Bumbles

Re: Loxton 2022
I assume Jamae will get a 12m penalty for winning to coincide with the 12m hit Greg copped for coming 2nd?
Leslie will have to forfeit the $5 for 8th, right? I mean its not the prize amount that determines this right?
Lets wait to hear the report by Bumbles!

But her $5 gets divided among the other finalists so they all get an extra 70 cents eachTop Sport wrote:I assume Jamae will get a 12m penalty for winning to coincide with the 12m hit Greg copped for coming 2nd?

Re: Loxton 2022
Im hearing from Gossips that it was a non stewarding meeting so it was okay.
But I think that mumbles may have been warning someone else and missed it so she doesnt get a warning.
