Lift system

Hi All. Will the lift system be in place again this season??. Does anyone have details.

I'm surprised this hasn't been announced, you'd think it would be in place again? The VAL probably need to let everyone know what's happening asap.

Yes, Stawell Lift System for 120m Gift and 120m Womens Gift (ie like last year and previous years … 1m for Warrnambool etc,  and later in year 0.25m for Ringwood 100m etc provided the lift does not take them above ceiling time.  Furthermore a UP over the same distance type can mean  removal of lift. A further win over similar distance also negates the lift.  Winners of Classic or Group 1 over similar distance the previous year are not eligible for lift).

Something similar to this with the nominated meets for both men and women should be released before this weekend where the women run their first event where a lift bonus should be offered.

Furthermore the Stawell Lift policy (like previous seasons … 5m to 10m) for the 550m and 800m should be released prior to this weekend where the 550m is being run as the first possible event eligible with that policy.

VAL - please release these ASAP this week, it has been a very successful initiative over the last 8 years or so.

Is the 300 masters series going ahead as well? Another great initiative from last year.
