Interesting to see a lot of women choosing running in Canberra over this, still a very high quality field

Re: Ballarat Women's Gift
hopefully we see Torrie Lewis in the final this weekend.
Her 100m PB has her running 13.80-90 so lets hope she can run up to her best.
However, there May be a few girls with juicy marks that will run quicker than 13.8... no pun intended

You may have forgot to add a conversion there for grass.
I’d expect a run similar to her Burnie run. Around 14.15.
Will be others faster I feel.

her 11.53 PB has her running 13.8 off her mark.
obviously allow 1-2 metres for grass, still has her right on 14 seconds and puts her in the conversation for sure.

11.57 +1.9.
Will run 14.15 at best IMO. Which will still be a fantastic run off 50cm

Willis is going to find this tough. Few days ago ran 11.7 with a tail. She Will need to bring her best or better to win this. When the winner neales down in the blocks, she will be hard to beat.... no pun intended.

May has done well to get her mark where it is, she has hardly ran in the pros, but don't think she's ready to win here.

Unsure how may has this mark, will be disappointing to see her win after so many girls working hard to get to where they are.

Re: Ballarat Women's Gift
May has been lifted 6.25m from just 7 runs since Rye 19.
Regardless of being OGA, that’s extremely generous for a teenager who will undoubtedly improve.
Good luck to the established girls that would find it hard to surmount only 0.5m lifts for that many acceptable runs.
Also had a juicy lift from 9.25 at Waverley 20 -> 11m at VRTA in the 100m between seasons.

Didn't May win the Women's Bay Sheffield 70m this season?

Not enough votes to really talk about the spread. I would like the ACT track meet to be on another weekend to get some of the great back markers involved at Ballarat.
We always get a quality final, I am sure that this will be another one.

Re: Ballarat Women's Gift
My final goes
Lewis 0.5
Payne 3
Domaschenz 3.25
Ruach 5.5
Neale 5.75
Lindstrom 10.25
Glassburrow 10.75
May 13.25
With not much between this field I think we will see a very tight finish, hard to pick a winner here
