Re: SAAL Awards Night
Is the voting on Athlete of the Year going to be open and transparent so everyone can see who voted for who.
It must have been very close.
A host of athletes could have won it.
AFL Showdown medal is always open and transparent.
Rothe was certainly a very worthwhile winner , but it would be good to know who got votes and how many.

Re: SAAL Awards Night
Would have thought Killmiers effort to win at Bay Sheff meet , and Camden meet and to win races over three different distances would have put him right up there.
Underwood, Cholsh and Moschou all with good wins at big meetings would also warrant consideration.
Guess we will never know as it is all secret squirrel business.
For those interested , here are those that vote.
20.2 Voted Awards
A voting panel of officials will determine the Coach of the Season and the Athlete of the Season.
This panel is to be made up of the Handicappers, Chief Steward, Chief Starter and Main Race caller.
What a great season Camden had, Coach of the year and Athlete of the year.

Re: SAAL Awards Night
Guess we will never know the final voting results , either embarrassing for the league or been misplaced.
Leave it with everyone to make up their own minds, I already have.
