Tips for the Mens 550 at the Bay
The most exciting circle race at the Bay, if you ask me.
Who are we tipping this year?
I'm picking Hayden Rothe. Ran 1.10.43 on Sunday for 2nd and has been given a 2m lift.
Anyone have the scoop on the vic runners?

Wouldn't say the most exciting. Gets lost in the lead up to the bay shef finals. Always a heap of scratchings etc. But still a top race that's for sure and that tight turn makes for great viewing.
The 800m is probably the pick of the races circle wise and the bore that is the 3200 is the least wanted race.

Re: Tips for the Mens 550 at the Bay
The lack of stewarding has allowed Rothe to get out to 51m.
He's not alone but a lot struggle with the distance. However, he is one that has form over the distance.
He won Stawell as a teenager in 2015 off 41m in 1.08.22. Then made the Bay Sheff final off 28m later that year.
As a person still in their 20's how have they regressed. Surely they've improved.
Not his fault, just a fault of the stewarding over the last 7 years.

How about a tip, rather than a complaint? First time poster here, lets keep it positive

Not sure who's going to win. Hot day....tight turns...will be a good race with a few athletes on their hands and knees at the finish line throwing up. That's my pick.
