Handicapping guidelines 30 Sept.
Too many flaws in the current guidelines for transparent handicapping.
Hand the document over to the handicappers who know what they want and get them to rewrite the guide lines before next meeting.
A couple of obvious flaws are
Category 4 should be $0 to $999 Category 2 $1000 to $4999 etc NOT Category 4 $0 TO $1000
Already seen a handicapper ignoring.
70M Cat 4 Minium .5 Discretionary .5
100m/120m Minimum .25 Discretionary .25
This is an obvious flaw, we all know that a 100/120m event should have a greater penalty than a 70m in Category 4 Common sense.
1600M Cat 4 Minimum 5m Discretionary 5m Nlilsen has now won the first two 1600m of the season and by rights the handicapper can only pull him 10m .Handicapper pulled him 20m after his first win.Let the handicapper decide , make it Category 4 Minimum of 5m , Discretion 5-25
As it stands now , athletes have every right to appeal on the basis of the document released.Wait until the Bay if you think Im joking.
Its okay to admit an error has been made , its okay to fix it , give the document to the handicappers to adjust and reprint while its still early in the season.

Re: Handicapping guidelines 30 Sept.
What a breath of fresh air.
A proactive saal who is prepared to listen.
Im hearing a Whisper that the handicap guide lines are being closely looked at in the week off and any changes that are considered necessary to improve the guidelines to assisst everyone will be made.
Like I said what a breath of fresh air.
The League is now prepared to listen, After only 2 meetings, have grabbed the opportunity to at least look over the guide lines in the first week off, and make any admendments rather than shove it in the spare room , close the door and forget about it.
I would assume any changes will be announced on Team App.
