2021 Bendigo International Madison CANCELLED

Unfortunately some bad news for the VAL season with Bendigo being cancelled. Hopefully we can get a replacement meeting, or perhaps Ringwood/Docklands/Coburg can be brought forward to fill in the space. The message below is from the Bendigo Committee.

The Bendigo International Madison Committee have made a decision NOT to conduct the Bendigo International Madison Cycling and Athletic Event March 5-7, 2021.

In the current uncertain Covid climate we are unable to guarantee that we can deliver the standard of event that we are accustom too.

Public safety, sponsor and patron satisfaction have all contributed to our decision.  The ability to run this event with high quality athletes cannot be guaranteed in 2021 and we do not wish to run at a lower standard than our supporters expect and enjoy.
It is with regret that we have had to go down this path but we are sure that our supporters will fully understand our decision for this year.

We look forward to March 11-13, 2022, where we will stage the 50th running of the Bendigo International Madison Cycling and Athletic Carnival.
