Grace Crowe the one to beat, after a impressive run at Ballarat, looks like she has been handicapped under ceiling though 13.69, meaning she should be pulled a quarter, back to 5.75

Surely a battle between Crowe and Suares-Jury.

Pollard in the race last week must’ve flattened Suares a bit. Results also say that she ran a junior race earlier in the day??! Not sure why.
Hope both these girls try to win the gift and the gift only.

Yes I agree on both counts. Crowe wins if she runs, but I can't understand why her handicap wasn't 5.75m. She would still win off this mark anyway.

Results over recent years would suggest that this race has been dominated by front markers. Having said that if Grace Crowe runs she will win. Will she compete at both Lakeside on Saturday and again on Sunday?
If Crowe doesn't run the results could look something like this:
