one percent question
If an athlete competes in a 1600m event off a handicap of 660m , in otherwards he runs 940m in total
And runs 4.40.90 then approx 10 days later runs 4.23.04, he has improved his time by approx 17 seconds .How many metres has he improved.
The Chief Steward of the saal is saying 80m to 90m improvement.Surely would have to be a typo , 90m
Sorry Chief , you are not in the 1% club.

Re: one percent question
Everyone knows that the metres improved is just a smidge over 60 , I checked it on the Abacus, sounds better though to say 90m if you are fining someone.
