Still a place for adjusted times?
Looking across Meadowglen and some interstate races and with my understanding of the adjusted time equation... I wonder if there is still a place for the adjusted times in progressions from heat -> semi -> final
If we take Heat 3 of the 200m at Meadowglen, the wind was +1.2 and the adjustment was 0.06s. Personally I can't imagine the benefit of this wind ONLY being .06s
The next heat had +2.6 and the adjustment was 0.13s again this seems far too small of an adjustment for such an advantageous wind reading.
I honestly believe it should be scrapped and its just the luck of the draw if your heat has a tailwind or headwind. In instances where only the winner of the heat or semi progresses sometimes you get drawn in a fast heat sometimes a slow one, shouldn't we treat wind readings the same. It's great to see the actual readings on the PDF results VAL provide, but I don't think we should be assuming an adjusted time.
It also seems to be throwing up big issues in SA

Hey Donatello
Big issues in SA because they did wind adjustments on circle events for the first time.
What a howler.

SA Whisperer clearly that is utter nonsense and someone there needs to be reminded about how circle events work!
But I mean even for the straight track.... can't tell me that there is a perfectly linear relationship between wind and times starting at +0.0 so we're really pulling something out of thin air right?
