2022 Essendon 200m Men's Gift

The VAL is back for season 2022/23! Good luck to everyone throughout the season.

A huge 84 entries here for the season opener at Essendon, a great result for the VAL.

A few guns at the back of the field, with former Stawell Gift winner Dhruv Rodrigues Chico on 2m, Luke Stevens returning on 3m, and young gun Jack Boulton on 5m.

Lim from 20m will be hard to beat, if he’s in form. 22.76 and 11.29 last season has him shaping to run inside 21s.

I have Scott Roswell winning this by about half a meter from Tim Rosen then Chris Lim.

Fair shout ESTR, has he raced over 200m in the pro's before?

Only two runs in 300m for Lim.

Rowsell better suited to 70m. Ran multiple sub 7.75s last season and retains final hcp.

Lim should have the masters novice of 15m then? He has not run over 200m at VAL before

Home track win for mine in the form of Guglielmino.

Marcus is only 22yr with strong 200/400m form having run 21.73sec 200m & 47.09sec 400m, will run sub 21sec which puts him on the podium at the very least.
