Re: Geelong Results
Thanks as always JH!
With easing of restrictions, do we think the VAL could bring back posting the results of each round and start lists for subsequent rounds on a board? Is there a way to do this that can still be COVID safe? I'm not sure if Twitter and Instagram posts are keeping up with the events being run and tight timetables/turn arounds...
It'd be amazing to see VAL implement a live results system.

Race report will be interesting read, I think a SA female athlete may have wasted her money in going over.
What you do in SA you cant do in the Val.

I think there are a few games trying to be played. I agree apart from a weekend with team mates it seems a waste of a trip

It maybe just a bad run if it’s the one I think you are talking about. But 0.5 of a second is a big drop away from Bendigo, but I have seen a lot worse. You can’t hang her on one bad run. Can you ?

We must be looking at different athletes. DROP FROM Semi to Final of .28 .Be okay in saal as theres no stewarding at most meetings.Thatsthestats wrote:Z Score wrote:Race report will be interesting read, I think a SA female athlete may have wasted her money in going over.

Has already won numerous sashes this season at the bigger meetings in SA and still sits on a cosy handicap.

0.28 sec raw and 0.18 sec on adjusted times isn’t exactly the crime of the century. But you are right the stewards wouldn’t have been on their phones whilst the final was on

Was unaware we had a fashion tribunal is the ruling males can't wear white shorts?

Fashion tribunal should find a clear ruling that wearing tighty whities with faecal stains is an automatic UP and handicap review.

Re: Geelong Results
E.T.H, did you really need to take banter and in joke between Chief Steward and Hamish so literally?
Furthermore, you didn't need to take it in the direction that you have.

Re: Geelong Results
Can confirm this was a joke by the chief steward. And was found very funny by the members of team Ireland. Good to see some tongue and cheek in the stewards report

Re: Geelong Results
Post edited. I have no doubt Hamish will be wearing it at his next training session. Not sure if the stewards report is a place to be joking about this but either way, was enjoyable to read.
