Stawell Handicap Errors

Lets start with Ebony Lane 11m in the 70m. F#%¥ing stupid mark

Has to be mistake. Last run 7.49 off 11m 2 years ago. Since has won Frankston 70 women’s gift and run a half second 100m PB. Hello HRP?

Add Andrew Boudrie to the list of horrible mistakes. Won Stawell 400 2 years ago off 16m. Has 16m again already. 4m lift since last run. 9m lift this season off 4 runs

Max Mason should be 4.5 in gift not 4.75

Brennan lifted to 78m, has 72m at ringwood and multiple top 3 finishes this year...
Antidormi - wins ballarat of 90m, goes back 6m, and lifted straight out to 90m for stawell.

Doderico on 34m - won in 2016 of 29m? Dangerous mark for the big man

Aaron Stubbs should not have 3m. Last time he ran in the VAL he had 0.5m. He has done nothing to earn this mark.

Ebony’s 70 run at Frankston this year with the 1m rubber allowance gives her a rating of .1228
If you apply that to ceiling of 7.60 she should have a mark of 8.11m (8m). Therefore she has 3m under ceiling which just cannot be allowed to happen.

So you guys have got an issue with a 35yro getting back out to his winning mark of 16m from Stawell 2018, which btw is 3yrs ago, the year is now 2021?

Here's a statistic for you, if a handicapper has this season allocated 1034 handicaps including Stawell and made 1 obvious ERROR being Jack Lacey which has now been corrected, then the ERROR percentage is 0.0967%.

Given Mr Boudrie is now a veteran there is an allowance that can be applied which is the case here as such his handicap is within the guidelines and rather than being considered an ERROR let's just say that it might be considered a little GENEROUS.

Then again, I'm confident Andrew will not be re-living his 2018 glory as such his 16m handicap is neither an ERROR or GENEROUS.

Let's just wait and see.

16m is no gimme for a 35 year old.
As far as the Lacey one goes, handicappers are only human and the odd mistake will be made. Obvious errors can be changed at any time so be thankful the handicapper was man enough to own it and correct it.

Ran 11.36 in the heat in Brisbane today.
Should be off 7-8m absolute max.

Massive PBs from Lane and Basic and some others in Brisbane should definitely affect their 70m open marks, 70m womens marks and 120m womens marks. Those PBS definitely can’t be ignored!
Rules are Rules and they apply to everybody!

More PBs coming out of Brisbane over 100m, 200m and 400m for many athletes including many competing at Stawell. Great running by many!

Lane’s mark has been adjusted to 8.75 which still has her starting in front of ceiling time according to your calculations, mistake has been made again.
